We would like to invite you to join us at the next ECVO meeting in Trieste, Italy, May 24-27 2012 !

The general topic of the meeting will be hereditary eye diseases (HED).
The core focus of the ECVO has always been the recognition, diagnosis and prevention of blinding and/or painful hereditary eye diseases. To ensure reliable and comparable results of the HED examinations the European Eye Scheme was established. ECVO certified examiners throughout Europe document their exam results on the ECVO forms. Two major ECVO projects are on their way: a central European registry of the results of the HED examinations and the ECVO manual, the European counterpart of the American Blue Book.
Obviously, harmonization and conformity of the diagnoses and the documentation of the results of the HED examination in between examiners and countries are mandatory to enable those projects.

At the Trieste meeting you will have the chance to get updated on the clinics and genetics of HED in dogs and cats by excellent lecturers. We are proud to announce the 2012 invited speakers:

The scientific meeting with abstract presentations and a poster exhibition will take place on Friday and Saturday. During those days you will also have the chance to visit the industrial exhibition and connect with exhibitors and sponsors.
