Real Fábrica de Tapices
The Royal Tapestry Factory (Real Fábrica de Tapices) is one of Madrid’s most distinctive historic venues and an important centre of Spanish cultural heritage. Founded in the 18th century during the reign of King Philip V, the factory was established to produce tapestries for the Spanish royal court and remains closely linked to Spain’s artistic and craftsmanship traditions.
Today, the complex hosts a wide range of cultural and social events, including conferences, exhibitions, concerts, and gala dinners. The historic workshops and restored event spaces combine traditional architecture with modern facilities, offering a unique setting in the heart of Madrid. The venue is also home to important collections of tapestries, carpets and textile artworks that reflect centuries of Spanish artistic history.
Events at the Fábrica de Tapices provide guests with an atmosphere that blends heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary culture.
Access
The event spaces at the Fábrica de Tapices are accessible and step-free access is available to the main event areas.
