Currency
Unlike in most countries of the European Union, which are using the Euro (€), Polands official currency is the złoty (zł).
Major credit cards are accepted at most cash points (ATM machines), stores, restaurants and hotels.
Electricity
Poland operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.
Official plugs used are Type C, Type E and Type F.
If you are traveling from the UK or other countries that use different plug types, you will need an adapter.
Health
All visitors are advised to have valid international insurance.
Invitation letter
An invitation letter for the purpose of obtaining a travel visa or permission to attend the meeting will be handed out on request after a successful registration for the conference.
Language
English is spoken by the staff of most hotels, restaurants and shops.

Polands international pre-dial is +48. Public places like transport hubs, museums, malls, restaurants, monuments and even parks may offer “free” WiFi Hotspots.
