Dr. Bret Moore
AOI: AI used in Veterinary ophthalmology (Apps, telemedicine, diagnostics, big Data, One Health)
Bret Moore is currently an Associate Professor at Cornell University. He received a DVM and PhD from Purdue University and completed a residency in comparative ophthalmology at the University of California Davis. His primary clinical interest is in exotic animal ophthalmology, which aligns well with his research expertise centering on comparative visual ecology and optics. Additionally, he has a strong interest in the communicative and collaborative processes within our profession, and how the interaction among and between veterinary professionals impacts the care of our collective patient and client population.
Dr. Siegfried Wagner

SOTAL: Oculomics: the use of retinal imaging and AI for systemic health and disease
Siegfried Wagner is UKRI Future Leaders Fellow at University College London and Honorary Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He qualified in medicine from the University of Oxford in 2012 and subsequently completed a MSc in epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and PhD in ophthalmic artificial intelligence at University College London. His research focuses on oculomics – the use of ophthalmic imaging for characterising, monitoring and predicting non-communicable diseases, such as dementia and cardiovascular disease.
